Subjects presented as Coloraid Cutouts echo the core philosophy linking all the projects.  This philosophy recognizes the interconnected dynamic forces coursing through all matter.  The modernist-inspired images grow from a conviction that there is no negative space and that sensual pleasure is an essential ingredient in a full embrace of earthly life.  Each image forms a pattern composed of interlocking lines, shapes, and colors. Each has a carefully tuned color palette, line tempo, and cast of players: birds, bees, bugs, flowers, trees.  A snapshot represents a moment in time – taking its cue from the rituals and cycles that sustain life on earth.
