The Mandala Project: Aesthetics, Contemplation, and Education
(a learning tool developed by MIT- Prajnopaya)

January-April 2006

Join us in building a community-based mandala to celebrate creativity and peace. All ages are invited to participate. Hospitals and Educational programs from elementary schools to college level art departments will be involved. This project joins hands with other communities across the country to promote a spirit of generosity and togetherness.

The Prajnopaya Foundation is a worldwide humanitarian organization, with the purpose of alleviating suffering and caring for society by developing innovative Health, Education and Social Welfare projects.

Prajnopaya is derived from Sanskrit terms Prajna (Widsom) and Upaya (compassion and skillful means). The Foundation is based on Buddhist principles of providing care for all regardless of ethnicity, religion or gender under the patronage of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. www.prajnopaya.org
